Coldwater Atlantic Salmon Oil

Yes; it’s real, natural Salmon Oil, so it is going to smell fishy. You may smell this on the dog’s breath after eating as well, but it’s worth it given all of the great benefits it provides!

We recommend adding 1 pump (2ml) per day until you get to the recommended amount. Adding too much too quickly may upset their stomach, as any food change does, but they should resume normal bathroom habits/consistency quickly. If your dog has an adverse reaction, like vomiting or loose stools, talk to your veterinarian.

Coldwater Atlantic Oil can be used at the recommended amounts in conjunction with almost all of our supplements. For other supplements that use salmon oil as a main ingredient (like our Skin and Coat line), we recommend using half the recommended amount for each. We don’t recommend using this product in conjunction with our other fish oils because of the significant amount of overlapping ingredients.

Both of our Skin and Coat Supplements use salmon oil as a main ingredient because of the great benefits it has on the skin. However, our Skin & Coat supplements contain other ingredients like Flax Seed, Chia Seed, and Vitamin C that are specifically targeted for skin health. Our Skin and Coat line is great for targeting skin health specifically. The Atlantic Salmon Oil will help with skin health, but has many other additional benefits for general health and wellbeing.

Wild Alaskan Salmon are considered to be a limited resource specifically because they are wild-caught. Atlantic salmon have higher population levels, which makes them more available to us and more cost-effective for the consumer.

Because these fish are sourced from different regions, they have different diets and therefore have a different nutritional makeup, even though they’re using similar fish species.

This product is good for 18 months after the manufacture date but is best when used within 45 days of opening.
