Luckily, Natural Dog Company organic healing balms will still work even if most of it has been licked off! The key is to apply as often as possible – especially before bedtime when bodies are in healing mode. It is also a beneficial time because your dog is relaxed and less likely to resist. The more time the product is allowed to penetrate, the better results you will get. Distractions work wonders! Try a giving your dog a Gnawer to chew on, treats, mealtime, a dab of peanut butter, belly rubs or play with them for a few minutes while the balm works it’s magic!

We recommend applying at least 2-3x daily. Frequent application to open wounds is important to protect against infections and to kill any existing bacteria. Be sure to apply generously, covering the entire area. Decrease use with improvement.

This is hard to say, it is varies greatly depending on the initial condition and frequency of use. Many customers see incredible results within the first week, while others may take longer. It is important to apply multiple times daily and try to distract your dog from licking in order to get the best results.

I also ordered this for my recently adopted 11 year old cocker rescue. Due to hypothyroid not managed by first owner, his skin was dry, itchy, scaly, with lots of patches without hair. Until I could get him into my vet to get Cytopoint, as I know he has skin allergies, I used this shampoo, and the ointment--I put the ointment on daily--he loves it--it must feel so good on his skin. The shampoo removes that stinky skin, and the ointment is helping so much. He may still need antibiotics for his skin to completely clear, but he is so much better--redness improved, and he is scratching so much less.

My now 2 yr old yellow lab is itchy all the time! seasonal allergies it seems. I purchased the shampoo, the sticks, the tins... and it ALL works!!! besides the itching, she has had chin acne, and also has had some boo boos that needed quick healing. Applying the sticks are super easy and works. The shampoo is awesome as it heals her skin (takes the redness right away) and reduces the itchiness.. no complaints at all!

Products seemed to help for a bit, but not for too long. Dog was calm after a bath, but after a few hours, was back to licking excessively. It's only been a couple days. We will continue to try.

I have an English Bulldog, Brittany Spaniel and Jack Russell Terrier. From the end of February to the beginning of October all my babies suffer from Georgia allergies. They itch and have watery eyes.
